The Raiders Army would again like to invite everyone to join us at the Lighthouse bar on Sunday April 13.

Join us from 1130am onwards to meet the lads in bay 72 aswell asd discussing everything Raiders. The Lighthouse will again be providing $3 Schooners, $3 wine and a free BBQ for all to enjoy.

We had a great turnout to the Dragons pre game and encourage everyone to join us again.

As you may be aware, the Raiders Fan day is on this Saturday at the National Museum of Australia. If you are keen on attending, we will be meeting at the Museum at 11.45am. We will be heading for some cold beverages at the City Labor Club afterwards to discuss the upcoming season. All are welcome. Please do not hestitate to come up and introduce yourself at the Museum, and maybe joining us for a beverage at the Labour Club afterwards.. Just look for us in the bright green Raiders Army shirts.

The Raiders Army would first of all like to thank all the people that supported the mighty Green Machine in 2007. We had an up and down season with some memorable moments, as well as some we would probably like to forget.

We have been quite busy during the off season with some new concepts undertaken by some senior members. We are hoping to have some major announcements in the new year that will be well worth the wait.

Until then we wish you a safe and merry Christmas as well as a happy new.

Keep the Faith people, our side will surprise a lot of people next season.

SUPER SUNDAY CELEBRATION

The Greenhouse forum, in conjunction with the Raiders Army have started a collection for people wishing to chip in a bit of cash towards Neil Henry’s fine, given because of comments made by him at the post match conference on Saturday night. We see this as a very pointed show of support for the club and coach, while helping to voice the club and fans’ disappointment with the standard of refereeing throughout the year and in particular the last few games we’ve had.

The plan at this stage is to collect as much money as possible by Friday, and then make a presentation to the club at Friday night’s match.

We have called and checked and the club are willing to accept the donation. There has been massive support for this, with over $1000 pledged so far.

We are currently in the process of setting up a Raiders Army bank account to take donations and when we do it will be posted here. In the meantime you can pledge money or express your interest below or discuss it over at The Greenhouse forum by clicking here.

Apologies for the lack of updates, I have been quite busy lately. Keep an eye out later this week for a massive photo update, once again thanks to Eric.

We are now heading into the business end of the season, so we got to give the boys as much support as possible. Make sure you get there this Sunday versus the Titans for (another) crucial clash. We can still make the 8 yet, so don’t give up, and remember: BELIEVE.
