Yesterday a few of the Army attended the 2007 Raiders season launch. I have to say, it was a pretty well organised event. There was a stage set up for the presentation of the first grade squad, and a big screen where they played some season highlights from last year. For a club who is supposedly in “financial trouble” (according to “expert” Phil Gould), they definately went all out.

My only complaint would be lack of advertising of the event – surely they could have put on some TV ads or something. The only reason I knew the event was even on was because of the Raiders website.

Can’t wait for the season to begin, less than a week to go now. There are still a few seats left on the bus to Manly, so get on board. Email ben for a seat!
